Djitté joined Austin FC from Grenoble Foot 38 of the French Ligue 2 in June 2021, and is on loan at Bandirmaspor in Turkey until June 30, 2024. During his time with the Verde & Black, the Senegalese striker has recorded five goals and two assists in 30 MLS matches, including scoring the Club's first-ever hat trick in a playoff-clinching 3-0 victory over Real Salt Lake on September 15, 2022.
While with Grenoble, Djitté tallied 15 goals and two assists in 67 games. Prior to his time in France, Djitté spent the 2018-19 season with FC Sion of the Swiss Super League, scoring four goals in 25 appearances across all competitions. The forward started his professional career at Senegal Premier League side ASC Niarry Tally. At the international level, Djitté has featured for the Senegal U-20 and U-23 National Teams.
