Career Summary

FC Cincinnati acquired midfielder Junior Moreno on February 25, 2022 in a trade with D.C. United. In exchange for $250,000 in 2022 General Allocation Money (GAM), with a possible additional $175,000 in performance-based incentives to D.C. He was signed to a contract through 2022, and option for 2023 was exercised on November 15, 2022.

2022 (FC Cincinnati): Made 27 appearances, including 25 starts, in the regular season for the Orange and Blue, scoring two goals and adding one assist 
 his two goals came in his first career brace, a game which doubled his career MLS goal total of one goal (2021), on May 28 at CF Montréal 
 became the third different player in club history to score a brace in a regular season game 
 added an assist on April 30 at Toronto FC, setting up the first goal in a 2-1 win for FCC 
 completed the third-most successful short passes on the team with 798 
 started both games for the Orange and Blue in the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs.

2018-21 (D.C. United): Was a consistent starter in the midfield for the Black-and-Red 
 in four seasons with D.C. United, Moreno has made 97 regular season appearances including 91 starts where he has scored one goal and distributed nine assists 
 he started in each of the Black-and-Red’s two MLS Cup Playoff appearances in 2018 and 2019 
 In 2021, Moreno ranked first on the team in tackles (40), and second on the team in games played (28), games started (25) and minutes played (2,148) 
 completed the highest percentage of passes (83.7%) of any D.C. United player to appear in more than 15 games.

OUTSIDE MLS: In 2012, Moreno made his professional debut for Asociación Civil Deportivo Lara before moving to Zulia FC in 2015 where he scored three goals and recorded three assists in 64 appearances in the top tier of Venezuelan soccer 
 Moreno helped lead Zulia FC to their first Copa Venezuela victory in club history in 2016 by beating Estudiantes de Caracas 2-0 on aggregate over two legs 
 D.C. acquired Moreno from Zulia FC on permanent transfer on Jan. 2, 2018.

INTERNATIONAL: Has earned 35 caps for La Vinotinto
