Dominique Badji signed with FC Cincinnati to a contract through the 2022 season, with club options for 2023 and 2024, on January 4, 2022. Badji finished the 2021 season with the Colorado Rapids, where he scored five goals, including three game-winners, in 319 minutes across 12 appearances.
2022 (FC Cincinnati): Made 24 appearances, including 13 starts, playing 1,094 minutes and notching two assists, including the game-winning assist on March 5 at Orlando City SC when his impressive strength held off a defender and allowed him to play a perfect ball for Brandon Vazquez to head home the game-winner … also assisted a goal on May 21 vs. New England Revolution … recorded an assist in the Leagues Cup Showcase vs. Chivas in the 3-1 win for FCC … strung together eight consecutive starts early in the season up top for FCC.
2021 (Colorado Rapids and Nashville SC): Played 506 minutes in 17 appearances, including five starts, with Colorado and Nashville … Acquired by Colorado via trade from Nashville SC (July 29) … Scored five goals, including three game-winners, in just 319 minutes across 12 appearances with Colorado … was named to MLS Team of the Week in Weeks 23 and 34 … played 75 minutes in Western Conference Semifinal loss to Portland Timbers

2018 (FC Dallas and Colorado Rapids): Played every minute of the Colorado’s first three games, including the two Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League matches against Toronto FC … opened his 2018 scoring account with the first goal of the home opener, netting after five minutes of the 2-2 tie with Sporting Kansas City (March 24). He was subbed out with six minutes remaining, to be replaced by Jack McBean … scored his first ever MLS hat-trick on March 31, in the 3-0 home win against Philadelphia Union. Was named to the MLS Team of the Week (Week 5) … contributed his first assist of 2018 on the Joe Mason goal at FC Dallas (April 7). He was replaced in the 90th minute by Micheal Azira … fouled for the penalty, which was scored by Shkëlzen Gashi, in the 2-0 home win over Toronto FC (April 14) … played 76 minutes at Real Salt Lake (April 21), with much of this as a lone striker after the team was reduced to 10 men, before being switched out for Yannick Boli …scored his fifth goal of the season with the opener in the 2-1 home loss to Orlando City SC (April 29). 2017 (Colorado Rapids): Opened his scoring account for 2017 in the first game of the season, heading home from point-blank range in the 1-0 success over New England Revolution at Dick's Sporting Goods Park (March 4) … Scored his and the club's second goal of 2017 when he latched onto a defensive mistake in a 2-2 home draw at home to Minnesota United FC (March 18) … Bagged a goal and an assist in the same game for the first time in his MLS career in the 3-0 home win over San Jose Earthquakes (May 13) … On target against Oklahoma City Energy FC (June 13) in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup … Got the leveler, for his fourth league goal of the season (fifth in all competitions), in the match against Portland Timbers (June 17) … Tallied a career-high three assists in the 3-1 win over Houston Dynamo (July 1) … was named to the MLS Team of the Week (Week 18) … Scored his fifth league goal of the season in the 3-1 home loss to Seattle Sounders FC (July 4) … His sixth goal came at Toronto FC (July 22) which equaled the career high set in 2016, which he reached from nine more appearances … Handed the Rapids their only road win of the season with a goal at Houston Dynamo (Sept. 9) … Finished with career-high goals (9), assists (6), and shots on goal (28) … Hit 2,000 minutes in a season for the first time in his MLS career … Missed a penalty in the last game of the campaign, which would have handed him his season's aim of double digit goals … Only Eric Miller (30) started more games, and only Miller, Micheal Azira, and Marlon Hairston played more minutes.
2016 (Colorado Rapids): Opening goal of the 2016 season was the game-winner in the Snow Clasico 2, versus New York Red Bulls on April 16, in a match which marked the Rapids debut of Jermaine Jones … Badji followed this with an assist in the 3-1 home win over Seattle Sounders FC (April 23), before netting his second of the season in the 2-0 victory over Vancouver Whitecaps FC at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on August 6 … He started more games in 2016 than in his rookie season (9), and made more appearances … campaign caught fire when he was moved up top during the absence due to injury of Kevin Doyle. It was a role he would continue in, even once Doyle had returned to the lineup, and due to the key goals and assists he provided from the more advanced position … finished the season with six goals and four assists, both career highs, while also logging more appearances, starts and minutes than in his rookie season … His season-high arguably came at Toyota Stadium on September 10, when his goal condemned league-leading FC Dallas to their first home defeat of the season and ended the Rapids' run of two defeats in a row … Scored two goals in a MLS game for the first time when netting twice in the 3-2 win at Houston Dynamo (Oct. 8).
2015 (Colorado Rapids): Despite being chosen late in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft, Dominique Badji was one of several Rapids draftees who showed well in preseason training and was signed to a contract three days before the opening game at Philadelphia Union … A quick strong striker, he scored goals in preseason games, against UNLV and Sporting Kansas City, to impress the coaching staff … Though selected in the last round of the MLS SuperDraft (67th overall), rookie Badji was the first player to score for the Rapids in 2015. He opened the team's and his own MLS account in the 4-0 win at FC Dallas … netted the Rapids' first goal in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup (against Colorado Springs Switchbacks), and then scored the team's last goal of 2015, in the 4-1 loss at Portland Timbers on October 25 … enjoyed a loan spell with USL affiliate Charlotte Independence, scoring two goals in six appearances. He was named to the USL Team of the Week in August following a brace in the 2-2 tie with New York Red Bulls II.
COLLEGE (Boston): Appeared in 69 games for Boston University (64 starts) over four years, scoring 22 goals and adding nine assists … Named to the all-Patriot League first team and the NSCAA all-region first team … As a senior (eight goals, four assists), he led BU to its first conference championship since 2009 and was named Patriot League offensive player of the year … earned BU’s first post-season top offensive player award in conference play since 2001 … Showing a knack for being in the right place at the right time to take advantage of scoring chances, he scored three game-winning goals, including a header in overtime to give the Terriers a 1-0 win over Army to push BU into the Patriot League title game … A second team all-Patriot League pick and second team all-region pick on a team that finished sixth … As a freshman, named America East rookie of the year and was unanimous choice for the America East all-rookie team.
