Blaise Matuidi has signed with Inter Miami, according to multiple reports.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano was the first to report an agreement, which was later confirmed by ESPN.

Matuidi, 33, has been at Juventus since 2017 and owns prior stops throughout his home country at Paris Saint-Germain, Saint-Etienne and Troyes. The midfielder still has one year on his contract, though appears to land outside of new head coach Andrea Pirlo’s plans at the Serie A giants.

Matuidi moved from PSG to Juventus for a reported $27.5 million, and a player of his stature would likely require a Designated Player tag. Inter Miami have one open slot alongside attacking midfielder Rodolfo Pizarro and wide player Matias Pellegrini.

During his distinguished career, Matuidi has won three Serie A titles and four Ligue 1 titles. He also has extensive Champions League experience and has earned 84 caps for France, scoring nine times. He was a starter for Les Blues en route to their 2018 World Cup victory over Croatia, and he was also in the XI at the 2016 Euros and 2014 World Cup.

The MLS Secondary Transfer Window opens this Wednesday (Aug. 12) and runs through Oct. 29. Inter Miami are 0-5 so far in their expansion season, and return to action Aug. 22 (8 pm ET | MLS LIVE on ESPN+ in US; DAZN in Canada) against Florida rivals Orlando City for their inaugural home match.
