It appears the New York Red Bulls have rejected yet another bid for defender Aaron Long.

According to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol, West Ham’s offer was for the former MLS Defender of the Year was $500,000 until the end of the season with a $4.5 million option to buy in the summer.

Brian Dunseth reported in July the Hammers made multiple bids for the 27-year-old US men’s national team center back.

Southampton reportedly had “been offered the chance to sign” Long, according to Sky Sports News in November.
