OCSC's USMNTer Shea shows off snake-wrangling skills | SIDELINE

Brek Shea, Orlando City

Brek Shea is one multi-talented individual.

Not only is the Orlando City SC left back a skilled painter whose works have fetched nice sums of cash for charity, but he apparently can also add wildlife wrangler to his resume. Animal Planet would be duly impressed by Shea’s skills catching a slithery backyard visitor, as demonstrated in a video shot by teammate/housemate Eric Avila and posted as part of a detailed look by Fusion.net into the 25-year-old US international's life off the field.

Snake taming and painting are two vastly different talents for Shea to show off. But we'll just call the Texas native a renaissance cowboy.

The snake in question here is apparently of the non-venomous variety. However, given that he's a new resident of Florida, home to six species of snakes listed by the Florida Museum of Natural History as dangerous to humans, OCSC head coach Adrian Heath and US boss Jurgen Klinsmann might want to make sure Shea is up to date on which ones to leave well enough alone.
