Orlando options all strong for Friday night DraftKings action

Orlando City's Lewis Neal dribbles forward

Friday's MLS double-header features two matches with Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoff implications: NYCFC at Orlando City SC (7 pm ET, UniMás) and Sporting KC at San Jose Earthquakes (11 pm ET, UniMás).

Orlando City need to extend their winning streak to five in a row in order to keep their Eastern Conference playoff dreams alive, while San Jose and Sporting KC are both battling for playoff positions in the West.

This Saturday, play against Taylor Twellman for your shot to win an MLS VIP Experience! The top finisher in Saturday's DraftKings contest will win: a Meet & Greet with Taylor Twellman, Two (2) tickets to the 2015 MLS Cup, and more! It only costs $3 to enter, so click here to start drafting your team!

Goalkeepers

Obvious Pick: Tally Hall ($4,900) has been instrumental in Orlando City's four-game winning streak, and has a good shot to make it five straight at home. During that stretch, Tally has averaged 11 points per match.

Budget Pick: Tim Melia ($3,900) is the cheapest of the four starting goalkeepers on Friday, and has only given up three goals in his last four matches. Sporting KC were thrashed 5-0 at home the last time they played the Quakes, though, so tread with care.

Defenders

Obvious Pick: Luke Boden ($4,200) gets forward in Orlando City's attack and provides good crossing bonuses. He's one of the best picks from this admittedly limited defender pool.

Sleeper Pick: Clarence Goodson ($4,800) and the Quakes haven't had many clean sheets lately, but even without them, Goodson still puts up fairly consistent numbers.

Midfielders

Obvious Pick: Benny Feilhaber ($9,500) is the main man this week, averaging 11.8 PPG, and Sporting KC need him to step it up further still if they're going to secure a strong seed in the playoffs.

Forwards

Obvious Pick: David Villa ($12,500) has racked up 49 fantasy points in his last three matches. I expect Orlando and NYCFC to be a slugfest, and Villa will be a key part of that.

Budget Pick: Carlos Rivas ($5,500) has two assists and nine shots in his last three matches, averaging more than 11 PPG during that time.
