NYCFC's Kreis joins FCD's Pareja to honor Bobby Rhine | SIDELINE

For all the lines drawn between friends, familiars and everyone else on both sides of a matchup, sometimes honoring a friend means making time.


NYCFC head coach Jason Kreis joined FC Dallas coach Oscar Pareja and Team BR19 at the Dallas Heart Walk, an annual event hosted by the American Medical Association.



Team BR19 was organized by the FC Dallas Foundation to honor the memory of Bobby Rhine, former Dallas Burn and FCD player and broadcaster who passed away in September 2011 from a sudden heart attack. A teammate of both Kreis and Pareja, Rhine played parts of 10 seasons for Dallas, making seven playoff appearances. 


The pair also spent time with Bevan Rhine, Bobby's widow:
