NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION vs MONTREAL IMPACT
GILLETTE STADIUM, Foxborough, Mass.
March 21, 2015 (WEEK 3, MLS Game #20)
3 p.m. ET (MLS LIVE)

Two clubs who would like to claim their first league wins of the season meet when the New England Revolution make their home bow, taking on the Montréal Impact on Saturday afternoon at Gillette Stadium. The Revolution have started the new year with two shutout losses, coming off a 2-0 defeat by expansion side New York City FC last weekend. The Impact had a week off following their season-opening 1-0 defeat at D.C. United to open the league season, but are sitting in a good position in the CONCACAF Champions League following a midweek win.

  • The Revolution went down to a second consecutive shutout defeat to start the season, falling 2-0 to New York City FC at Yankee Stadium on Sunday. Last season, the Revolution were also shut out in back-to-back losses to kick off the campaign – and ended up playing in MLS Cup 2014.
  • The Impact return to MLS action after starting their league campaign with a 1-0 loss at D.C. United on March 7, which came just days after their dramatic advancement to the CONCACAF Champions League semifinals past Mexico’s Pachuca CF.
  • The Revolution defeated the Impact for the first time in three tries at Gillette Stadium last Sept. 13, the only meeting in Foxborough last season. The Impact won both matches last year in Montréal.
  • Last year’s Revolution victory was their first ever at Gillette Stadium vs. the Impact. The Revolution had won two games in a row in Montréal before last year’s two Impact victories.
