New England Revolution head coach Bruce Arena has been suspended for an additional two games and issued a $15,000 fine by MLS Commissioner Don Garber for unacceptable conduct and use of inappropriate language, the league announced Monday.

Arena had already served a one-game suspension after being shown a red card for confrontational conduct and offensive language directed toward match officials in the Revolution's 1-0 defeat to the Philadelphia Union in the MLS is Back Tournament Round of 16 game on July 25.

Arena will serve the additional two-match suspension during New England’s matches on Tuesday against D.C. United (7 pm ET | MLS LIVE on ESPN+ in US; MLS LIVE on DAZN in Canada) and August 29 against the New York Red Bulls.
