MLS Save of the Week Update: Portland Timbers' Adam Kwarasey leads pack on final day of voting

Save of the Week Update: Timbers' Kwarasey leads pack with hours left in vote

It's the final day of Save of the Week voting for Week 7, and Adam Kwarasey is leading the nominees.

The Portland Timbers goalkeeper, who made a crucial save on Khiry Shelton in their 1-0 road win over NYCFC, has a sizable lead on the competition, with 42 percent of the vote at present.

2015 Save of the Week mainstay Tyler Deric of the Houston Dynamo, meanwhile, sits in second place at just under 28 percent. He seems like the best bet to possibly overtake Kwarasey, but it's in the voters' hands -- and don't count out late rallies in favor of the Colorado Rapids' Clint Irwin (11.86 percent), NYCFC's Josh Saunders (10.11 percent) and San Jose Earthquakes 'keeper David Bingham (8.15 percent). It's all dependent on you the voters, of course.

Who will you choose? Vote now, and the winner will be announced on Friday based off your online votes.

Voting runs until 11:59 pm PT on Thursday. For complete coverage of the MLS Save of the Week – including an archive of all of this season’s nominees and winners – click here.
