Toronto FC have famously splashed a lot of money to bring in big-name signings, and two of them paid dividends immediately.
In the Reds' season-opening win against Canadian rivals Vancouver Whitecaps, January acquisition Jozy Altidore opened his TFC account on a set up from Italian international Sebastian Giovinco.
The goal levelled the score for Toronto in the 32nd minute after the Whitecaps took an early lead through a new signing of their own, Octavio Rivero.
Altidore added a late second, on a penalty, to ice the win after Robbie Findley scored the martch-winner early in the second half.
