Europa league action rolled on Thursday, and that meant time on the pitch for a few US and Canadian exports who play for clubs participating.
Here's your round-up of who played and how they did.
Jonathan David and Tim Weah
Lille
The Concacaf duo both featured in Lille's Group H matchup with Celtic, which would end in a 2-2 draw as the French side managed to claw back and equalize with two second-half goals after conceding a first-half brace to Celtic's Mohamed Elyounoussi.
For Canadian standout David, it's been a tough start to his first campaign with Lille, as he's been held off the stat sheet so far this season, and missed a penalty kick in the 40th minute. We know the 20-year-old has talent, and he's been getting plenty of minutes, which will hopefully work him through the growing pains.
Weah, meanwhile, has been working move in a reserve role as he comes back from injury, and did so again in this contest as he came on in the 82nd minute and finished out the match against his former club. The US international winger is also still on the hunt for his first goal for Lille.
Richie Ledezma
PSV Eindhoven
The former Real Salt Lake academy product made the bench for PSV in their Group E matchup with AC Omonia, but didn't wind up seeing the field in a 2-1 victory for his side, powered by a dramatic game-winner from teammate Donyell Malen.
Ledezma remains on the hunt for his first appearance for the senior team after spending the 2019 season with the second side and performing well, scoring six goals in 29 appearances. Before that, he suited up in the USL Championship for Real Monarchs.
Henry Wingo
Molde
Wingo continues to make a name for himself following his 2019 move overseas.
The Seattle Sounders Homegrown never quite broke into the regular first-team rotation in Seattle, and made the move to Norwegian side Molde, where he's become an integral part of the squad. He started and played all 90 minutes at right back in their Group B match with with Rapid Wien on Thursday, which saw Wingo's side take a 1-0 victory on a 65th-minute goal from Ohi Omoijuanfo.
Props to the 25-year-old University of Washington product for making the most of his opportunity.
