La Pantera! Elis scores vs. Benfica

Alberth Elis - Boavista - November 2020

US men’s national team fullback Antonee Robinson got his fourth consecutive start as Fulham got its first win of the Premier League season against West Brom on Monday at Craven Cottage.

The 23-year-old wound up going the full 90 minutes as Fulham bagged a 2-0 victory thanks to a pair of first-half goals that came within four minutes of each other. Robinson played a role in the opener, sending in a cross that was headed back across goal before a headed finish from teammate Bobby Reid. Watch it below.

Fulham's Ola Aina would strike for a second just four minutes after that for what turned out to be the game's final goal.

Fellow USMNT defender Tim Ream, who has started the Cottagers last four matches, was on the bench for this contest and didn't feature in the match.

Alberth Elis scores as Boavista upset Benfica

The former Houston Dynamo man scored his first goal for his new club on Monday, netting in the 38th minute for Boavista in their match with Benfica. Former FC Dallas right back Reggie Cannon started and played 90 minutes for Boavista as they scored a major 3-0 upset over the Portuguese giants.

With Boavista up 1-0, Elis scored a nifty finish, collecting a throughball in the penalty box and depositing it into the top right corner.

That's a familiar sight for fans in Houston, where Elis had played since 2017 before getting sold to the Portuguese side earlier this season. The 24-year-old had 34 goals and 27 assists in 88 games for his MLS career before the move.

Harrison starts for Leeds vs. Leicester

A regular fixture in Marcelo Bielsa’s starting XI in Leeds United’s return to the Premier League, former NYCFC standout Jack Harrison draws his sixth start of the season when the Peacocks host Leicester at Elland Road Monday at 2:55 pm ET.

Harrison, who last went the distance in a 3-0 win over Aston Villa on Oct. 23, has a goal and an assist on the season in five appearances, all from the start.
