Chicago Fire FC midfielder Przemyslaw Frankowski and New England Revolution striker Adam Buksa have been called up to the Poland National Team for a pair of 2020-21 UEFA Nations League matches next month.


The pair will join Poland in Group 1 in League A, as they face the Netherlands in Amsterdam on Sept. 4, and Bosnia on Sept. 7.


While it is not Buksa's first call-up, he has yet to make his debut for Poland's senior team after impressing at youth level. The 24-year-old joined the Revs as a Designated Player in the offseason and has scored two goals to date in his MLS career.

Frankowski has 10 career senior caps for Poland, including two starts and six appearances in UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying. He has one career international goal, scored in Poland’s Euro 2020 qualifying match against North Macedonia on Oct. 13, 2019. 


The 25-year-old joined Chicago ahead of the 2019 season from Polish side Jagiellonia Białystok, where he scored 24 goals in 140 appearances from 2014-2019. He has 5 goals in 33 MLS appearances for Chicago.
