AT&T GotW Update: Drogba, Giovinco neck-and-neck for Week 30 award

AT&T Goal of the Week: Week 30

The Week 30 AT&T Goal of the Week race is coming down to the wire, with two of MLS's biggest stars neck and neck for the honors.

Only a little more than one percentage point separates Didier Drogba and Sebastian Giovinco for the AT&T Goal of the Week. Drogba currently has a small advantage, with the Montreal Impact star holding 38.42 percent of the vote, slightly ahead of Toronto FC's Giovinco at an even 37 percent.

The rest of the pack is well off the pace. Orlando City SC rookie sensation Cyle Larin is in third with 13.55 percent of the vote, New York Red Bulls captain Dax McCarty follows in fourth with 7.16 percent and New York City FC Frank Lampard rounds out the candidates with 3.87 percent.

It's all but guaranteed that one of Drogba or Giovinco will win this week's accolade, but will it be the powerful striker or crafty Italian? Vote now to decide – the winner will be announced on Friday.

Voting runs until 11:59 pm PT on Thursdays. For complete coverage of the AT&T MLS Goal of the Week – including an archive of all of this season’s nominees and winners – click here.
